So when we came across SEOUL SWITCH, a whimsical, fun-loving short film about an insecure Korean American kid (DJ) and the biggest K-pop idol in the world (Moon) who decide to switch lives, we knew we had to be part of it. And just like that, everything aligned—this collab was meant to be.
SEOUL SWITCH isn’t just a fun film (though, trust us, it is), and this collaboration isn’t just about aesthetics (though, let’s be honest, our cases are hot). It’s a story about identity, culture, and chasing the life you want—something we really connect with. DPARKS started in South Korea, just like the film’s story, and now we’re in the U.S., sharing our love for Korean culture with you! It’s wild how our journeys mirror each other. And the fact that we ended up collaborating? Total serendipity.
We truly admire the whole team behind the short film and are so excited to support them in bringing this vision to life. SEOUL SWITCH was written and directed by the award-winning filmmaker Liann Kaye, with Margeret Cho, the iconic Grammy and Emmy Award nominated stand-up comedian, actress, and singer-songwriter as executive producer, and starring Kevin Woo as both Moon and DJ, known as the main vocalist in the K-Pop group U-KISS, and recently making his Broadway debut in KPOP: The Musical (2022) and booking a major role on eight-time Grammy winner Anderson.
